Welcome to my canvas
The Ghost of Christmas Past
Greetings everyone and a Happy Holidays to all! This has been a rough year for so many around the globe and I’m thankful 2020 is coming to an end and there’s hope and light around the corner. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on past year’s Christmas memories as this year has been dreadful. I must admit, I didn’t have the incentive to deck the house out in festive holiday cheer this year and am strolling down memory lane on my camera roll. For those of you who have your homes decked out, BRAVO! I’m grateful to have my family and loved ones safe and healthy and wish you all much of the same. Here’s to brighter, hopeful and healthier days ahead. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ❤️
Flowers, flowers, and more flowers 🌺
Who doesn’t love flowers? Unless you suffer from terrible allergies, fresh flowers bring beauty and life to any room decor, inside and out. Unfortunately for me, I am not blessed with a green thumb. Thankfully, my better half does all of the gardening and we have beautiful peonies (my absolute favorite) and roses every spring. I also love orchids, hydrangeas and blossom stems.
Afternoon Tea
Besides coffee, my family and I are avid tea drinkers. We’ve taken advantage of this time at home experimenting with different teas and ways to enhance and savor the experience.
Dalgona Coffee: hopping on that coffee trend ☕️
If you’re like me, the days of the week are all blending together and there’s really no distinction between weekdays and weekends. Even AM and PM are blurring together; I now only operate by two times: coffee time and cocktail time.
Dalgona coffee has been a huge trend all over social media, as well as the “quarantini” and I’ll admit, I’ve embraced both trends with exuberance.
Today, I’ll share with you my morning dalgona coffee routine (and will share my evening quarantini cocktail on a later blog post). If you have some of these items in your pantry or bar, we can get started!
